Speaker: Kathyrn Scourby

Kathryn Scourby (Kathy) is the Principal of KNS Consulting, LLC. She works with professional service firms to achieve their goals in the areas of business continuity, disaster preparedness, risk management, and compliance. Kathy, a certified business continuity professional, trains management professionals and all levels of staff at private service firms and facilitates table-top exercises in these focus areas. Kathy retired in 2017 after thirty-three years with international law firm Hunton & Williams, LLP and has more than thirty-seven years of experience in the legal industry. Additionally, Kathy served on the International Board of Directors for the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA), was a trustee for the Foundation of the Association of Legal Administrators, and currently serves on ALA’s International Relations Committee. She continues to receive outstanding reviews as a frequent presenter at ALA conferences, ALA, ACP and other Association local chapters and with private service firms on disaster recovery, business continuity and risk management issues.

Please Join Us in Supporting One Hut Project

Please also join us is supporting One Hut Project, a local 501(c)(4) charity which collects toiletry and hygiene items and makes them accessible to children in the Metropolitan Detroit area. Mini Huts (or closets) are placed in selected schools under the guidance of an administrator or counselor and students in need are encouraged to take what they need for themselves and their families free of charge. We will have a collection box at each of our upcoming educational meeting and other events. One Hut Project accepts the following items: shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, body wash/lotion, hair and facial care items, toothbrushes/toothpaste, floss, shaving supplies, feminine hygiene items and toilet tissue. We will have a donation box at all upcoming events.  Monetary donations may be made payable to: One Hut Project. Thank you for your support!
