Afinety - Customer Service Based Managed IT Services

It is no secret that the managed IT service world has been inundated with a number of companies looking to provide service to the legal world.  It is good to know - and quite frankly refreshing - that one of our Business Partners is focused not only on having a superior infrastructure to service its clients, but is particularly focused on providing superior customer service and developing strategic partnerships with them...  Welcome to the world of Afinety!

During a recent interview with Ed Grubb, Vice President of Legal Services at Afinety, we talked about how Afinety differentiates itself.  Ed joined Afinety shortly after the first of the year in 2021.  Prior to joining Afinety, Ed had been with another cloud and managed IT services company for 18 years.  So, suffice it to say - - he knows the business and has seen it evolve over the years.

Afinety started in 1986 in Encino, California as a traditional IT network  company.  Eventually the culture of the company began to change and they worked to understand how to service law firms. In 2015, they developed solutions that leveraged the public and the private cloud.  Afinety is somewhat unique in how it offers that service.  They are one of the few who offer a solution on a public cloud, a private cloud, or a hybrid of both. They work with their clients to determine the best option for them.  This is not a one size fits all service.  They are also 100% legal specific - - law firms - -  and they continue to grow as a household name in the law industry.

In the ever expanding arena of IT companies and managed IT services, how does Afinety differentiate itself?  PROACTIVE CLIENT COMMUNICATION!  They are and continue to be more than just "a provider".  They are a partner to their clients.  Those are not words - they back it up with impeccable credentials, skilled customer support, and ongoing communication with their clients.  They seek to bring valuable content back to their clients.  They seek out the critique and solicit the feedback.  What is the client experience and what are the business needs?  Those are two questions Afinety strives to answer for its clients.
